Kari Sam Wuhrer was born on April 28, 1968, is an American actor and singer. She began her professional career as an teen and is most well recognized for her role as Maggie Beckett in the television series Sliders and as Sheriff Samantha Parker in the horror comedy film Eight Legged Freaks.Wuhrer was born in Brookfield, Connecticut, the daughter of Karin (nee Noble), a payroll accountant, and German American Andrew Wuhrer, an officer in the police force and a automobile salesman. She has three sisters and brothers. As a teenager, she was a singer who was a regular in the clubs and hid from home in order to perform. From the Wooster school at the age of 13 She began her studies in the art of drama. Then, at the Tisch School of the Arts of New York University, Marymount Manhattan College located at Columbia University and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, under the famous professor Uta Hagen. Wuhrer was a student. She was a Brookfield resident birthed in Brookfield Connecticut in 28th April 1967. Her father is both a German American policeman, as well as an auto salesman. Kari was born into the family of four. When she was just teenager, she would perform in clubs by sneaking away from her home. Kari began studying acting when she was just 13 years old.
