Sheryl Underwood is an American television host, comedian and actress famous for hosting The Talk, a popular talk show on daytime. The Talk. Born in Arkansas she was raised in Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl comes from a family that has had a lot of problems. She was a lot of her life looking after Frankie. Frankie suffered from the disease polio. While growing up, Sheryl experienced many issues with her mother. Sheryl states that her mother once stabbed at her father over getting too close. Sheryl joined military after graduating from university. Her passion for the military was comedy. The only woman that made it to the 1989 contest Miller Lite Comedy Search. In 1992, she made her TV debut as a regular on the HBO show Def Comedy Jam. She appeared as host of Oh Drama! as the host in 2000. The present guest co-host for Talk Talk since 2011. Additionally, she's been in fictional roles on shows such as Bulworth Nikki, and Beauty Shop.
