Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy is a 16 year old American born in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor was a former banker. Jennifer Marina Joy worked as a Psychotherapist. The father of her mother, who is native of Argentina with Scottish and English descendant is her mother. Her mother comes from Spanish and English heritage. Taylor-Joy was born into a family of six children. Four of her siblings are of the marriage that she had with Taylor's dad. The family was initially of Buenos Aires, but moved to Victoria when Taylor-Joy turned 6. Taylor Joy stated that moving from Buenos aires to Victoria was difficult, and she did not take the time to learn English in hopes of going home to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school when she changed schools from Northlands. Then she attended Queen's Gate School in London, where she took ballet classes and participated in the drama department. After she turned 16, she dropped out of school to make a career of acting. Taylor-Joy has always known she wanted to become an actor. She was given a chance to try it by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management, who offered her an opportunity as a model.
